About

It all started in the shadowy winter of our discontent. A blustery, cold July day, there was born a child who would be destined for the mixing board. One meant for nothing more than twisting the EQ knobs on a kick drum track. One intended to be: a music producer.

Hailing from the Midwest, I cut my teeth as the staff engineer at the Rockford, Illinois studio The Noise Chamber for a couple of years. There, I even picked up a few RAMI awards (Rockford Area Music Industry) for “Best Engineer“. After learning the ins and outs of the studio world, I’ve gone freelance and have yet to look back. I’ve worked in cities all over the place: Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, London, and even out in Singapore.

Throughout the last 14 plus years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a zillion amazing artists. From rock legends Cheap Trick to classic rock stars like Joe Puerta (Bruce Hornsby and the Range, Ambrosia) to blues and gospel hit makers like Bishop Neal Roberson (B.B. King, Muddy Waters) to country icons like Tommy Greywolf (Brooks and Dunn) and Billy “Thunder” Mason (Tim McGraw) and everywhere in between.

Some of the studios I’ve worked out of are:

  • Avatar Studios (New York)
  • The Noise Chamber (Rockford, IL)
  • IV Labs (Chicago)
  • Semaphore Recording (Chicago)
  • The Fuse Recording (Rockford, IL)
  • Fat Recording (Chicago)
  • The Exchange (Milwaukee).

I love mixing and I love putting 100% into every mix I do.

You send me your studio or home recorded tracks and I’ll make your music bigger, wider, harder, and other sexual inneundos. Since I specialize in online mixing and mastering, there is no need for you to sit through hours of tedious EQ tweaks. You get to hear the final product and make mix decisions based on that.
